The 13th meeting of the Arab committee for customs kicked off here on Sunday.
The committee will resume discussions over the coming five days on issues related to taxes "customs tariffs", said Arab League assistant secretary general for economic affairs Mohammed bin Ibrahim al Tuwaijri.
The discussions will take place after unified customs measures have been approved, Tuwaijri said.
The meetings will also take up measures to clear postal packages and transport procedures for express transport companies, he added.
