 Egypt's petroleum exports declined by 36.7 percent in May to hit 273 million dollars against 431 million dollars in the corresponding period of 2015, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

Petroleum imports also went down in May by 30.1 percent to hit 742 million dollars compared to 1.6 billion dollar of the same month last year, the agency said in a bulletin, a copy of which was obtained by MENA.

Egypt's gas and petroleum production declined in June to 5,360 tons against 5,734 the same period last year.
