Damietta Port received six vessels

Damietta Port received six vessels over the past 24 hours, the Media Center for Damietta Port Authority said in a statement on Sunday.

They included two container ships and four cargo vessels, the statement added.

One container ship and four cargo vessels have left the harbor, the statement read.

Some 20 ships have docked in the port, according to the statement.

Also, 31 vessels are in the anchorage area waiting for their entry procedures to be completed.

The port's grain and cereal silo is currently holding 57,615 tons of wheat, the statement said.
