Damietta Port received six vessels laden with general goods over the past 24 hours, a statement by the Damietta Port Authority reported Tuesday.

Also, four container ships and one cargo vessel left the port, the statement added.

There are 38 ships outside the port waiting to finalize their entry documents, the statement said.

The port's grain silo is currently containing a stockpile of 86,528 tons of grain along with 93,258 tons of wheat, it added.
