Cairo - MENA
Former Egyptian ambassador to Indonesia Ahmed al Qwesni said the measures announced recently by Abdel fattah El Sisi to encourage Egyptian youths to get involved in Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) would achieve an economic boom and reduce unemployment rates.
In press statements Monday, he said such projects represent more than 97 percent of Indonesian economy, calling for studying Indonesia's experiment.
He pointed out that the Indonesian authorities issued in 2012 a ban on exporting raw materials and allowed only the exports of locally-made materials to encourage local industries.
