The Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection, CCCP, sector in Dubai Economy, and Trading Enterprises Co. LLC, an Al-Futtaim Group company, have opened the ‘Consumer Happiness Counter’ at Rashidiya Service Centre.
The initiative is part of Dubai Economy’s strategic objective of enhancing happiness across the emirate and promoting cordial relations between traders and consumers.
A delegation from Dubai Economy led by Abdullatif Al Marzouqi, Senior Manager of Consumer Awareness Section in CCCP, along with Mohammed Maktari, Managing Director, Trading Enterprises, attended the opening at a ceremony witnessed by senior officials from both entities.
"In line with the vision of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to make happiness and positivity an inherent part of the UAE lifestyle, Dubai Economy has recommended all private sector companies to open dedicated Consumer Happiness Counters at their Consumer outlets. This initiative was recommended to handle consumer complaints effectively, with escalation only taking place on the rare occasions when an agreeable consumer resolution cannot be offered at the company level," said Al Marzouqi.
"Consumer happiness is a core value at Trading Enterprises and we welcome this initiative from Dubai Economy," said Mohammed Maktari
