London - MENA
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's (EBRD) has offered a USD 14-million loan to Jordan to develop sewerage networks and alleviate the pressure resulting from the crisis of refugees in the Middle East.
The infrastructure suffers greatly in Jordan, mainly in areas where the majority of refugees live, the EBRD said in a statement.
The loan will help Jordan develop sewerage network and relevant infrastructure to increase the network's ability to deal with additional burdens.
The EBRD is proud of loans provided for Jordan to address the problem of sewerage, said head of the EBRD office in Jordan.
