The Finance Ministry on Sunday auctioned treasury bills at a total value of EGP 7 billion.
In an online statement, the ministry said it sold EGP 2.5 billion of 91-day T-bills. The average yield was 11.960%, it said, adding it accepted bids at rates between 10.902% and 11.240%.
As for the 273-day T-bills, sold for EGP 4 billion, they achieved average revenue of 11.474%, the ministry said, adding it accepted bids at rates between 11.290% and 11.530%.
The Central Bank of Egypt auctions T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry.
