Egypt's General Authority For Supply Commodities (GASC) will buy 175,000 tons of wheat from Russia to produce subsidized bread.

The wheat was purchased at 205.37 dollars per ton.

The amounts will be shipped to Egypt from September 1 to 10, deputy head of the authority Mamdouh Abdel Fattah said.
