International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr said on Thursday that Egypt crafted a comprehensive economic program to achieve sustainable development.
The minister made the remarks while addressing the United Nations Development Program’s session on Arab countries.
The minister said Egypt’s plan aims at achieving sustainable and comprehensive development. The eradication of poverty and investment in human resources are on top of the program’s priorities, she added.
She asserted the need to empower youth and women and meet the needs of the marginalized people.
Cairo pays special care to the woman’s participation in the economic and social activities under the constitution that stipulated unprecedented rights for the Egyptian women, she added.
