Egypt is keen on supporting investors in the waste recycling domain, the head of the waste sector at the Environment Ministry said.
Addressing the opening session of the waste recycling Middle East forum, Mohamed Farouq said waste recycling has become a pillar for the economy in several states.
Farouq reviewed during the forum Egypt's experience in ditching waste.
He noted that Egypt is working on establishing an agency to manage waste recycling, adding that a presidential decree was issued in this respect.
