A roundtable will be held Tuesday at the international business center of the Smart Village with member states of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
The meeting is organized by Global Trade Matters (GTM) with the aim to explore new opportunities for developing economic relations between Egypt and the three countries of NAFTA, namely Canada, Mexico and the US.
It is meant to encourage dialogue between the private sectors in Egypt and the NAFTA countries, according to a GTM statement.
This will be the first meeting to group all parties concerned with boosting trade relations between Egypt and the NAFTA countries. (MENA)
The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is an agreement signed by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, creating a trilateral rules-based trade bloc in North America. The agreement came into force on January 1, 1994. It superseded the Canada–United States Free Trade Agreement between the U.S. and Canada.
