Egypt and Somalia signed on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding to bolster bilateral relations in the economic and trade fields.
The deal was signed by Egypt's Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil and his Somali counterpart Abdel Rashid Mohamed Ahmed, who is now visiting Cairo as part of a senior Somali delegation.
Qabil said Egypt is keen on providing all possible support for the African countries and helping Somalia to restructure its economic institutions.
The Somali minister stressed his country's determination to bolster ties with Egypt in the economic and trade fields.
