Egypt's exports of fruit hit 174,834 tons in January

The Agriculture Ministry said on Sunday that the Egyptian fruit exports hit 174,834 tons in less than one month.

In its report on the exports and imports, the ministry said the vegetables came second on the list with 78,299 tons since start of January until 26 of the same month.

The report said a plan is set to increase export-oriented agricultural projects to increase the state's revenues of foreign currency for the export needs.
