Governors of Arab central banks convene in Cairo on Sunday to take part in the 39th session of the Board of Governors of the Arab Central Banks and Monetary Institutions.
The 39th session will be chaired by Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Hisham Ramez, an official told MENA.
The behind doors session is expected to discuss the latest economic and financial developments in the region, the official said.
Also, they would discuss a follow-up report on a regional clearing system and offsetting the inter-Arab debts, the official added.
On Friday, several governors of Arab central banks began to arrive in Cairo to take part in the session.
