Deputy Minister Abdulmohsen al-Madaj

The National Assembly holds an ordinary session on Tuesday with an interpellation request against Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdulmohsen Al-Madaj on top of the agenda.
MP Abdullah Al-Turiji submitted the four-axe interpellation against Al-Madaj on November 23 to National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, based on article 100 of the Constitution, namely "Every member of the National Assembly may address to the Prime Minister and to Ministers interpellations with regard to matters falling .within their competence." According to article 135 of the National Assembly bylaw, the Speaker at once informed the Minister and His Highness the Prime Minister about the request. The interpellation is then listed on the agenda of the following session to set a date for a debate.
The first axis of the request, according to the Interpellator, is related to "abuse of public funds and irregularities at the Ministry", while the second handles "administrative corruption and gross infraction in managing the Ministry." The other two are the "collapse of dealing at Kuwait Stock Market (KSE) and violations of the Capital Markets Authority" and "mismanagement and cover-up of corruption and ethical crimes."
