Truck at the Kerem Shalom Crossing in Rafah

Israeli authorities decided on Thursday to allow 680 trucks loaded with commodities into the Gaza Strip through Karam Abu Salem crossing.
The trucks are carrying goods for the commercial, agricultural and transportation sectors along with aid supplies, head of the crossing's coordination committee for the entry of the goods into Gaza Raed Fattouh said.
As many as 150 trucks loaded with gravel and 87 trucks loaded with construction materials were also allowed into the Gaza Strip.
Karam Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing through which the Israeli authorities allow the entry of commodities into Gaza.
