A Jordanian government team will be heading to Saudi Arabia on Monday to meet with officials of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to discuss Jordan\'s bid to join the GCC, Al-Rai newspaper said.The meeting to be held in Jeddah is a follow up on the outcome of the September 11 encounter between Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judah and his GCC counterparts, Al-Rai newspaper reported in its edition on Monday.According to Al-Rai, the Jordanian team groups representatives of Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Planning, International Cooperation, Industry and Commerce, and other institutions.During the meeting, the two sides will agree on forming specialized bilateral committees to follow up steps leading to Jordan\'s joining of the GCC. The GCC, established in 1981, groups Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
