Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS)

Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) distributed here on Tuesday urgent relief aid to 300 Syrian refugees' families in Lebanese southern city of Arsal, following the snow storm that hit the country.
KRCS envoy in Lebanon Dr. Musaed Al-Enezi told KUNA that the aid included heaters, blankets, and diesel fuel, pointing out that the society will distribute another batch of humanitarian aid in the coming two days.
In remarks to KUNA, Head of northern branch of the Lebanese Red Cross Youssef Boutros praised KRCS's organizations of several aid campaigns to provide Syrian refugees in various parts of the country with life-saving supplies despite the tough weather conditions and the bad geographical and security conditions of some areas.
The small city of Arsal, home to 35,000 Lebanese people, hosts around 120,000 Syrian refugees, whose total number in Lebanon reached more than one million, as the majority of them are located in northern Lebanese areas of Beqa'a Valley, Akkar, Tripoli, Miniehand and Dannieh.
