Cairo - MENA
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab ordered interior ministry and Cairo governorate officials to clear downtown Cairo from street vendors and dilapidated vehicles.
During an inspection tour of downtown streets, the prime minister said that ministries' entrances looked unacceptable.
Meanwhile, Mahlab on Tuesday issued several decrees allocating state-owned lands for the public benefit in various governorates.
Lands were allocated for establishing sanitation and drinking water plants in Menofeya and Beheira and a school in Sharqeia.
