The Jordanian National Employment and Training Company on Thursday signed a cooperation agreement the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) to implement a training project to build capacity and provide the company with professionals in water use efficiency and solar power.

The agreement, signed within the framework of cooperation between Jordan and Germany, aims to serve King Hussein bin Talal Development Zone in Mafraq.

Under the agreement, the two sides will cooperate to support the institutional capabilities of the Center of Excellence at the development zone. It will also provide equipment and necessary tools to facilitate training and develop teaching strategies and training materials that focus on solar energy.
