His Royal Highness Prince Hashim bin Hussein of Jordan has received Matar Saif Al-Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Jordan, on the occasion of assuming his tenure in Jordan.

Prince Hashim conveyed his greetings to the UAE leadership, government and people, praising the UAE's brotherly and supportive stands for Jordan and its support in various fields.

Ambassador Al-Shamsi expressed his pride in the distinguished relations between the UAE and Jordan in all sectors under the patronage of the two countries' leaders, stressing that he will maintain the level of these relations and develop them in the interest of the two brotherly countries.
