President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday met with members of the specialized council for economic development of the Egyptian Presidency.

Presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said Sisi reviewed completing a necessary measures for the 1,000-factory project in New Cairo.

The project had been planned by the council in coordination with the housing ministry.

The meeting also discussed a proposal to create a new entity to oversee small and medium sized enterprises.
