A ship carrying 55,000 tons of wheat arrived at Alexandria Port on Friday.

In statements, Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority Abdel Qader Darwish said the wheat shipment came from Ukraine, adding all procedures were taken to unload it.

Samples were taken to make sure the wheat is fit for human consumption, he noted.
