Dubai - MENA
The application of the international development goals for 2030 requires the seriousness of all countries and the rearrangement of their priorities, World Bank Senior Vice President for the 2030 Development Agenda, United Nations Relations and Partnerships Mahmoud Mohieldin said.
Addressing the World Government Summit here, Mohieldin said that it was shameful to discuss the challenges and opportunities to be provided by the fourth industrial revolution, while knowing that some people around the world have not benefited from the first and second industrial revolutions.
One out of every seven people in the world has difficulty in accessing electricity, he said.
