The Yemeni government has announced its first fiscal year budget, for the year 2018, since the 2014 coup by Houthi militias backed by Iran, the Bahrain News Agency, BNA, has reported.
Yemeni Prime Minister, Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr, said during a meeting in Aden with his country's Higher Committee to prepare the country's budget for the current fiscal year that this year's budget would be better than the one in 2014, despite all the difficult conditions in the country.
He stressed the importance of regular payment of all salaries and wages for civilian and military employees and the overcoming of the obstacles faced during the past fiscal year.
