A Russian vessel carrying 20,000 tons of wheat arrived at Alexandria Port on Monday.

In statements, Spokesman of Alexandria Port Authority Redha el Ghandour said all procedures were taken to unload it.

Samples were taken to make sure the wheat is fit for human consumption, he noted.

As many as 8,196 trucks were handled at the harbor over the past 24 hours.
