Thirty-six ships transited the Suez Canal on Thursday, with a total cargo of 1.457 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 13 vessels carrying 595,000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 23 ships carrying 862,000 tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
