Thirty-six ships transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday, with a total cargo of 1.9 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 17 vessels carrying 944,000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 19 ships carrying 956 thousand tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
