Forty-one ships transited the Suez Canal on Wednesday, with a total cargo of 2.561 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 14 vessels carrying 861,000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 27 ships carrying 1.7 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
