Forty-three ships transited the Suez Canal on Sunday with a total cargo of 2.4 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 26 vessels carrying 1.2 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 17 ships carrying 1.2 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
