 Forty-three ships transited the Suez Canal on Sunday carrying a total cargo of 1.754 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 20 vessels carrying 807,000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 23 ships carrying 947,000 tons, according to navigational statistics released by the Suez Canal Authority.
