Forty three ships transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday, with a total cargo load of about 1.9 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 22 vessels carrying 965,000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 21 ships carrying 954,000 tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
