Cairo: Suez Canal traffic data showed that 281 ships transited the canal, with a total load of 15.8m tonnes

Forty-four ships transited the Suez Canal on Monday, with a total cargo of 2.587 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 23 vessels carrying 1.296 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 21 ships carrying 1.291 million tons, according to navigational statistics released by the Suez Canal Authority
