Fort-five ships transited the Suez Canal on Monday, with a total cargo of 2.4 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 24 vessels carrying around 1.3 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 21 ships carrying about 1.1 million tons, according to the Suez Canal Authority statistics.
