Fifty ships transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday, with a total cargo of 2.716 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 33 vessels carrying 1.473 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 17 ships carrying 1.243 million tons, according to navigational statistics released by the Suez Canal Authority.
