Fifty-two ships transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday, with a total cargo of 3.7 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 27 vessels carrying 1.7 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 25 ships carrying two million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
