Fifty-six ships transited the Suez Canal on Wednesday, with a total cargo of 3.3 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 23 vessels carrying 1.3 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 33 ships carrying 2 million tons, according to the Suez Canal Authority.
