Fifty-seven ships transited the Suez Canal on Wednesday, with a total cargo of 3.4 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 21 vessels carrying 1.1 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 36 ships carrying 2.3 million tons, according to navigational statistics released by the Suez Canal Authority
