A Russian aircraft loaded with humanitarian aid arrived Thursday at Lattakia Airport, Russia’s Emergencies Ministry said in a statement.
The aid is a gift from the Russian government to the Syrian people.
While coming back, the plane will take about 50 Russian and CIS citizens who want to leave the conflict zone in Syria, the statement added.
