Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s First Deputy Chairman, Othman Al-Rayes, today received the Egyptian Federation of Independent Trade Unions (EFITU)' delegation led by President Jabali Muhammad Jabali, and discussed mechanisms to promote joint cooperation between the two countries in the labour field.
The meeting was attended by representatives from Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation, BCCI Second Deputy Chairman, Yusuf Jawad Al-Hawaj and Chief Executive Engineer Nabil Al-Mahmoud and a number of BCCI staff.
Al-Rayes praised the excellent fraternal relations bonding Bahrain and Egypt, and reviewed the main laws and legislation in the labour field in Bahrain, including providing suitable labour environment and the government's keenness to constantly develop labor legislation to serve the national production process.
He stressed the need to intensify mutual cooperation and benefiting from the successful projects of the two sides in the field of recruitment, training and rehabilitation of human resources and upgrading the labour market systems in the interest of both countries.
Jabali underscored his country's willingness to enhance cooperation in various fields, especially the field labour one, and benefiting from the Egyptian labour in Bahrain.
