Egyptian Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center inked a memorandum of understanding with the World Food Program (WFP) for five-year cooperation in five different domains.
Head of the center Hossam el Gamal said that a delegation of the WFP visited the center on Tuesday to activate cooperation fields between both sides.
Gamal said that the center has good relations with the WFP in the domains of food security, nutrition and hunger combating along with quick response to emergency cases.
The agreement stipulates creating early warning system to follow up issues of food and nutrition, he said.
He pointed out that the agreement will take up issues of mutual interest including combating hunger, eradicating poverty, raising efficiency of education and other economic and social issues
