Foreign direct investment (FDI) reached 2.87 billion euros (3.2 billion U.S. dollars) in 2014, Croatia National Bank (HNB) published the latest figure on Wednesday.
Among the total FDI, 1.48 billion euros (1.64 billion U. S. dollars) of investments, called round-tripping direct investments, was four times more than in 2013, according to Croatian Agency for Investments and Competitiveness.
It has reached the heights since 2009, the year economic recession started, the agency said.
