The General Authority For Supply Commodities (GASC) have signed contracts to import 180,000 tons of wheat at an average price of 180.71 dollars per ton.

In statements on Wednesday, GASC deputy head Mamdouh Abdel Fattah said that 120,000 tons of wheat from Romania and 60,000 from Ukraine have been purchased.
