Egypt and Lebanon struck a 3-million-dollar contract under which Egypt will export ready-made clothes to Lebanon, the UAE and a number of western African states, Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil said.
A Lebanese fashion design company will depend on Egypt in manufacturing clothes which will be sold in Lebanon, the UAE and a number of western African states, the Trade and Industry Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
Qabil said the ministry is keen on enhancing cooperation between Egypt and Lebanon, especially in the trade and investment domains.
