Head of Egypt's Ready Made Garments Export Council Mohamad Qasem said on Tuesday that the Egyptian clothing and textile factories would increase exports to the United Kingdom.
Speaking to MENA during a garment exhibition in London, Qasem reiterated the importance of increasing exports to the UK which was the second importer of Egyptian textile products after the US.
He has also noted attempts by exporters to increase the volume traded with the EU market.
"The council has made promotional visits to Scandinavian and Spanish markets to increase exports," he clarified.
Egypt foreign trade volume of clothing and textile exported to the UK recorded $170 million, he said, expecting soon increase.
