Iranian commodities and products

Iranian commodities and products are good enough to hit the Iraqi market, Iran's Commercial Attache in Baghdad Ebrahim Rezazadeh said, and added that Iraqi consumers prefer Iran-made products due to their competitive price and high quality.
Rezazadeh said due to the cultural and religious commonalties between Iran and Iraq, the people of Iraq are highly interested in Iranian culture and people. Meantime, Iran’s political stance towards the Iraqi crisis as well as its valuable assistance to the Iraqi government and nation has further strengthened such fascination.
He went on to say that Iran’s exports to Iraq have increased by 24 folds in the past 10 years, adding that there is still room for more.
The official said that boycott of Saudi commodities in Iraq due to Riyadh's support for terrorists has further increased the Iranian products' acceptability in the crisis-hit country.
Rezazadeh said in order to maintain stability of presence in the Iraqi market and compete with rivals, Turkish companies are offering good after-sale services, adding that Iranian traders should also pay attention to this issue.
“Iranian traders for a successful presence in the Iraqi markets should pay attention to publicity more than before in order to introduce Iranian brands. These promotions should cover production up to consumption and should also pay attention to the capillary distribution,” Rezazadeh said.
Iran and Iraq have enjoyed growing ties ever since the overthrow of the former Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussein, during the 2003 US invasion of the Muslim country.
