Minister of State for Follow-up Affairs, Mohammed bin Ebrahim Al-Mutawa, and HRH Prime Minister's Court's Chief, Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the accompanying delegation have held a meeting with Jean-Marie Kutner Mayor of French Schiltigheim Municipality.
The meeting discussed means of boosting Bahraini-French relations in various fields.
Follow-up State Minister highlighted keenness of Bahrain's government, led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, to broaden bilateral cooperation, particularly economic, investment and trade areas.
Schiltigheim Mayor pointed out the importance of Bahraini delegation's visit in bolstering cooperation between the two countries.
He underscored his country's willingness to expand cooperation, especially in economic and investment spheres.
He noted leading a political, parliamentary and economic delegation to Bahrain to reinforce cooperation relations and to discuss the exchange investment and expertise.
He introduced French professional boxer Ahmed Rifai, who proposed to establish cooperation aims to enhance boxing sport in Bahrain.
Bahraini delegation welcomed the French Boxing Federation readiness to train Bahraini boxers and to prepare them for boxing competitions to be held in France in December 2014.
