Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (GOIC)

The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC ) on Sunday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) at the Hilton Doha.
The deal aims to facilitate cooperation and coordination between the two parties in order to support the Gulf industrial sector.
The MoU was signed by Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Projects Sector Dr. Ali Al-Mulla, on behalf of GOIC Secretary General Abdulaziz Al-Ageel, and KOTRA Vice-Chairman Wansug Yan.
Al-Mulla said that the GCC countries are full of investment opportunities that the Korean companies can seize, commending KOTRA's efforts aiming at enhancing relations between Korea and GCC member states.
The MoU seeks to promote cooperation and coordination between the two parties, notably organizing conferences, participating in researches or work papers and offering technical support.
The deal also aims to exchange technological information and statistical data in the economic and industrial domains.
The two parties agreed on the necessity of cooperating in the field of the Industrial Potential Survey (IPS) and involving KOTRA in the Industrial Market Intelligence Portal (IMI Plus) for providing data and information as well as supporting researchers.
