Khartoum - SUNA
Chairman of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Sudan (ICRC), Jean-Christophe Sandoz, has described the decision ending suspension of the ICRC activities in Sudan and continuity of dialogue as a positive step and enables the committee to resume its humanitarian work in helping to the dispute-affected people.
In a statement he issued Monday, the ICRC Chairman in Sudan indicated that the priorities of the committee include returning his employees to their field locations as soon as possible and assessing the needs at the dispute hit areas before deciding what can be done.
